I'm trying to get a slide base layer to play up to a certain cue point, then show another layer and then continue from where the base layer left off. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I tried with just triggers, but the base layer continued to play.
I did, but when I preview it, the base layer continues to play. Is this one of those situations, where the preview mode acts differently than when the module is published?
I figured out a solution, but I'm sure if this should be a factor or not. I had multiple sound clips for this particular base layer. When I combined them into one track and floated between the base and other layers with the 'pause base layer setting', it worked perfectly. Not sure if the multiple tracks should affect this capability, but in my case it did.
Would love to hear if anyone else has a similar or different experience with this.
Good that you found a solution, but having multiple audio files on the base layer shouldn't make a difference. See attached a quick test, it works for me as expected.

In the layer properties, did you select "Pause timeline of baselayer"?

This should work the same in Preview and after publishing. Can you share your .story file here so that someone can have a look?
