I have a page with 3 buttons which show 3 different layers. I have an audio file on each layer. If a user clicks button 2 before the audio finishes on layer 1, the audio overlaps.
How do I stop the audio on layer 1, when a user clicks button 2?
How have you set up the slide properties for each layer? Are you setting it to hide the other slide layers - do you have a trigger to hide the layer when another button is clicked? You could also set up triggers to stop the audio based on the user clicking on something else such as the next button. So there are a few different ways to set this up...and it all depends on your preference.
I've downloaded and previewed the file and I don't see that behaviour - only the audio for the current tab is playing and stops when I click another tab.
Have you published the file? Which browser are you using?
Perhaps, I did not explain well. What I meant was, when on Tab 1, even if I do not click on any other tabs, audio from other tabs plays after completion of Tab 1 audio (s). My apologies for confusing you.
Audio clip 2 timeline 69 secs starts talking about Face Covering which is Tab 2 audio even though still on Tab 1? Looks like you've duplicated that section of the audio

Should tab 1 have 3 audio clips?

Oh. Thank you for catching it. I will look carefully..perhaps it is a good idea to merge audios.
