I'm new to Storyline and have no idea what happens when we load a project into a course inside an LMS. Where does the link we create (or the html) send a student? What happens if the "higher ups" decide we won't keep Articulate (gasp!)? Do we still have viable links in our courses?
Not sure to understand your question, sorry. But I am to try to answer.
with Articulate you create and publish your course project for LMS or other output. Then articulate creates a zip package with a lot of files in Scorm format. So you need articulate to create modify and publish a course.
After that you import this zip into your LMS to allow user to use it. And that all.
No panic, you can use the published files through your lms even if unfortunatly you decide to stop working with articulate. But of course you are no longer able to edit and modify it.
note that for your learner the course appears in the lms like a simple internet link to the course hosted on your lms server.
Please consider the environment - do you really need to print this email?

Glad that Eric was able to assist you here Laura. I just wanted to pop in and let you know that replying to the forums via e-mail attaches your signature, but you are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
