.story Files Permission Issue

Hi, for some reason when accessing .story files and making changes/updates, then click the Save button, the file then exhibits a small gold padlock on the filename as viewable via MS Explorer making it only accessible to me. This permission issue is not good when sharing files with my team. My other team mates do not experience this issue. I’ve had my IT folks looking for weeks and they are scratching their heads as it is only happening to .story files. Any ideas what is causing this and is there something I should look for?

I've only seen this mentioned one other time here, and I think it is system dependent for sure.
