I am having difficulty getting my layers to appear if I select the Hide objects on base layer option, or if hide the base layer objects individually in a layer. I am using a mouse rollover to trigger the show layer action. Works fine as long as I do not attempt to hide the base layer objects.
Any ideas?
I am using Storyline 1, with latest updates installed.
If you're hiding the base layer objects, and those are what are being used to trigger showing other layers - you won't be able to access them from the layer you're on. You'll need to look into some type of trigger to hide the current layer to allow the user to access elements on the base layer again.
As Wendy mentioned, you may want to upload a section of your .story file so that the community can take a look and offer other ideas or suggestions.
Wendy and Ashley, thank you for your quick replies. Indeed the issue was that I hid the base layer trigger objects. I changed the layout so that the base layer triggers can remain without interfering with the triggered layers.
