I've read all the threads on this and nothing seems to solve my issue. Until now, my project was fine. I opened it up today and now my slides are advancing automatically instead of by clicking NEXT. I'd really rather do this the right way instead of setting the time to 300 seconds for each slide...just to ensure I have enough time to click NEXT before the slide advances.
Any chance some of you are reading these posts on a Sunday? :-)

hard to say without seeing file - have you checked the slide properties are set to by user and not to ‘advance automatically?’
