I've been tasked to look into ways our organization can deliver training on iPads. The BIG ask now is for our learners to be able to download (or have the courses pushed) to their iPad. Afterwards, they can either be online or offline while completing the course. Once they are back online, the course will then communicate back the completion status to our LMS.
Is this even possible? Based on my research (GOOGLE), this doesn't seem to be a possibility in Storyline or any other development software.

You are correct this is not possible

Just wanted to confirm what Phil said - it won't be possible to pass the status if they're not online.
