Help, I am trying to record my screen on a slide and when I click record screen, my Storyline presentation totally disappears and I'm left with the blank background of my screen to record? I can't figure it out. When I cancel out of recording, my presentation is there again. Any ideas on what is happening?
I believe that's the way the screen recorder is designed to work. It stops showing the storyline file so you can record another application on your screen.
There may be a better way to solve this problem, but you can try opening a second Articulate window to do the screen recording then copying and pasting that slide into your other file.
Yes - when you conduct a screen recording you won't see the normal Storyline interface any longer but a special recording box. You may want to review the tutorial here on how to work with screen recordings.
