I have an mp4 video that I have imported into a Storyline 3 course and I want to freeze the last frame of the video so that it stays on screen until the end of the timeline - and additional 2 or 3 seconds but I really need it there until the user clicks Next to move forward in the course.
Can I do this in SL3? I have had a look and searched online but not found a way.
The last frame of the video should remain on the slide until the learner moves forward to the next slide. Let's see if we can nail down why this isn't happening for you.
Take a look at the video file on the slide timeline. When you right-click the file, is Show Until Endenabled?
Have you double-checked that the last frame of the video isn't a black screen?
In the end the studio who created the video updated it. However, before that I tried the editing the length of the video within Storyline and that worked.

Hi Alyssa
The video is certainly set to Show Until End - I think it could well be that the final frame is a black screen.
If it should remain on screen I will investigate editing the actual video.
Thanks
Sarah
edit the video in storyline and you can crop the end.
I am having this issue. Did you ever figure it out Sarah?
Hi Gerianne!
Sorry you're having video troubles. Would you mind sharing a copy of that slide with me so I can take a closer look?
I achieve this by grabbing a screenshot image from the end of the video, and then fading it in over the video at the end of the timeline.
Just a suggestion.
