Storyline 3 Freezing/Taking Forever to Save

Hi. I have Storyline 3 and over the past few weeks, it has been taking 20+ minutes to save a file that is under 5mb with no audio or video, and 1 picture. Most times I have to end the task from the task manager, and lose all of my progress, but I've been waiting on my current file (4.6mb) for 35 minutes and it still hasn't saved. It happens with any storyline file I open or create, and even ones that previously had no issue saving. I can't open additional files to work on while these take forever to save, or it will completely freeze and I have no choice but to end the task. I can't get work done, and none of the discussions I've seen are helping me with my issue. I have Windows and I save everything to my desktop while I'm working on it, because I know working from a shared or network drive can cause issues. Please help!

Hi Danielle, I'm sure you have already tried this, but completely uninstalling Storyline and then reinstalling it would be my first port of call. If the issue continues, it would be worth trying to track down when the problem started, and if it corresponds with installing any other software, or with any windows updates or Storyline updates.
Yup, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled, and that didn't help. I have started thinking this problem started when my windows 10 upgraded to the latest version, but my help desk says there's nothing they can do to help.
