Storyline 360 Audio Editor issue
Jul 17, 2017
Hi folks,
Is anyone else having issues with the Audio Editor in Storyline 360 - I like to use it for quick edits but it seems like the last 360 update may have ruined it. THe Blue "timer" line (I'm sure it has a technical name) doesn't match the recording any more. Plus, the actual end of the recording is past the point the editor thinks is the end so you can't edit it.
I recorded a peek video of it (without sound sorry) - but you can see what I mean about the end of the audio and where 360 thinks it ends.

Hi there Zdravko, sorry you're running into that. Since Update 7, the audio and waveform are not synced correctly during playback in the Audio Editor. We're working through this, and we'll let you know once we find a fix! Thanks for giving us a head's up.
Hi,
we have the same issue in SL360, SL3 is working fine so everything we record in SL360 can be edited in SL3 (pretty inconvenient tho).
Looking forward to a quick hotfix for that. :)
Thanks Alyssa,
Hopefully there's a quick fix for it - unlike @SusiB, I don't have SL3 to fall back on - we made the jump directly from SL1 to SL360 :P
Great news! We just released an update for Storyline 360 that included a fix for the audio and waveform synchronization. Check out the release notes here, and go here to find out how to install the latest update.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
That's awesome! Thanks for letting us know!
Please add cue point in audio editor. So we can sync audio very simple.
Thanks for the idea, Razi! We always appreciate feature ideas we receive from our customers, both here in ELH and through our feature request form.
