Does anyone have any idea why with an inactive user, 360 is making calls to the LMS which in our case prevents a user inactivity timeout? It sends a call every 1 minute.
Thanks for your post and for also reaching out to our Support Engineers. You're one step ahead of me! They'll be in touch with you soon, and I'll also follow along and share updates here, as needed!
I never heard anything on this question. Can you suggest a point person I can send this to? We need to figure it our to address a regulatory requirement so it is somewhat urgent.
So sorry you didn't receive the email we sent to you on April 18th. Could it be that our message got directed to your spam or junk mail folder?
Our team is also seeing this issue in our own testing, and we've filed this as a possible bug as the HTML5 LMS output is sending a status to the LMS even if we set var FORCED_COMMIT_TIME = from 60000 to 0.
We'll let you know here as soon as this is fixed, and it's currently targeted for the next update of Storyline 360.
I hear you, and it sounds like you have a lot riding on this bug fix. You're right--Storyline 360 files cannot be converted to Storyline 2. I don't have a firm ETA on a fix at this point, but rest assured we're hard at work on the solution. As soon as the fix is released, we'll let you know.
We found a temporary fix and I thought I'd pass this along. When we publish to "HTML 5/Flash" only the calls send every minute and prevent the timeout but when publishing to "Flash/HTML" or "Flash" we don't have the issue.
Thanks guys! for all the info today and it helped us figure out these options to try
Hey Scott. I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 16 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where in the HTML5 output, data is sent to the LMS every 60 seconds even if set not to.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!

Thanks, Alyssa and great to hear the details.
We have built 30 courses in 360 and the timeout working correctly is required by our regulator so we are kind of stressed about this.
Do you know when the bug fix will hit? I understand there's no way to convert the files from 360 to Storyline 2 correct?
