Storyline 360 results slide

hola, i have a course with results slide that seems to be looping on re-entering the LMS (testing in scorm cloud). It's in SL 360. Learner goes through the module, then takes a final assessment where the slides are set to reset to initial state upon revisit. When the result slide shows as a fail, I re-enter the course and I'm taken directly back to the results slide. A cycle of hell. We've used this technique on other modules successfully but even seemingly duplicating the set up it's not working.
Additional data point, the rest of the slides, the content bits, are set up as restricted.
Also, publishing scorm 1.2; pass/incomplete; flash/html fallback

on your retry quiz button do you have a 'reset results' trigger and then a jump to first question slide trigger (in that order)? Also, you may want to try having your quiz slides set to 'automatically decide'.

Quick follow up nice to have: is there a way to add reset results when a user closes the browser window. The bookmarking is carrying over when that happens and I'd rather have them go back to the top. Even if have to add a pop up warning? Thanks!
