Storyline 360 Video Edit

Jan 20, 2020

Hi there, I'm brand new to Articulate and am trying to figure out how, or if you can trim/delete a few seconds out of a video that was created off a power point screen recording.  Any help is appreciated.

  1. Click on the video to select it.
  2. On the menu above an OPTIONS menu should appear for the selected item, in this case an options menu for videos.
  3. Select the EDIT VIDEO icon
  4. This tool is pretty intuitive.  Click on the TRIM option, then edit off anything from the start, and anything off the end you want out, leaving only the part in the middle you want.

You can put your video into a video editing program (like the free MS Movie Maker), and do it quickly and easily, or you can opt for difficult and time-consuming and try to edit it in SL. In this case, you will be very sorry, because SL doesn't have a function to cut out a bit in the middle. You could work around it, if you don't have anything else to do in this lifetime :).
