Storyline Adds White Fill to All Imported Shapes that had No Fill from Powerpoint

Aug 12, 2020

I'm wondering if there is a fix for this in the works?  Is there a workaround?  It's annoying that every time I import a Powerpoint, I must go back through and select each individual, originally 'clear', PPT text box, shape, and group, and then select 'No fill'.  There was no fill in PPT--why is it added on import?

Another common import issue is that text boxes are resized--something about the sizing, margins, or line spacing changes on import.

Hi Jonathan!

I understand how frustrating that must be! Let's see if we can find the culprit.

I've tested this out with my end using Presenter 360 and Storyline 360. I do not see the White Fill in Storyline 360 when I've already chosen No Fill in Presenter 360. Here's a quick look at my test.

It would be helpful to test your file to see what the fix might be. Would you mind attaching your PowerPoint file to this discussion or uploading it to us privately? Either way, we'll take a look and let you know what we find!
