Storyline and Clinical Skills Simulation
Nov 19, 2013
Hello,
I hope that this is the right forum for my post. My name is Mari Cruz García and I work at the Medical School of the University of Dundee.
I used Articulate Studio in the past and, after evaluating Storyline, I convinced the programme director of our MSc to buy an educational license for Storyline.
I am meeting one of our module leads to develop an interactive resource with Storyline and since the module is related to Clinical Skills and Simulations, I would like to ask you if there is any demo template for this topic (Clinical Skills) that I could borrow.
When assessing Storyline, I saw a medical template in the download area, but I cannot find it now.
Thank you very much for your information.
Mari Cruz

Hi Mari,
I'm not familiar with a medical template in the Storyline downloads, but Tim Slade demos one on this thread and provides a download. Not sure if it will meet your needs.
Also, I think there's a "medical" thread or group that's somehow connected to the community. Perhaps someone else can provide more information and more template examples.
Thank you very much, Rebecca. That is the template I was looking for, but I couldn't find it.
Cool! Tim Slade's stuff is great.
Hi Mari! Glad that Becky was able to assist you here
Thanks Becky!
Hi Rebecca,
If there is a group for medical education using Storyline, I'd love to hear more about it! We are piloting both Storyline and Studio as the University where I work.
Hi Adam,
I don't believe Rebecca gets back into the forums that much - but you may want to look or reach out in the Building Better Courses forum as that's where more "design" centric issues are shared.
