Thanks...I figured I was missing an option or preference somewhere. I am used to the somewhat sophisticated Adobe Captivate backup mechanism that actually goes way beyond "autosave".
It's a common topic of discussion here in the forums - and some users would share they don't want an auto save, but would like auto recovery. So everyone has a bit of a different philosophy on it.
With that being said, definitely send in the feature request - and be clear about which/either/both you'd prefer!

There isn't an auto save option in Storyline, but you wouldn't be the first (or probably the last) to request one.
You may want to look at implementing some other back up method such as the one described here.
