I have a problem after the newe update. Since I have updated storyline (v3.68.28773.0) every project crashes if I try to preview it (whole project and single slide) or if I try to export the project. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Or does anyone have a solution?
Same is happening to me as well. I was working on a project and after update i gave it a final touch. Now after update when i preview or publish my project, all i can see is blank slides.
Thanks to the support I could solve my problem. It seemd to be a unique combination of the new win11 update and the "Segoe" Font. After Using the "Replace Font" feature replacing Segoe UI with another font the preview feature and the export work again.
Curious side fact: I did not conciously use the Segoe Font and could not manually find any textbox where it was used, but using the "replace font" feature solved the problem. Thanks to John From the articulate support. :)
Any update on this? I'm in the same shoe with Sabrina, Segoe is the only one font that I can use during content creation/localization so it would be urgent to be this issue fixed!
The other fixes the support suggested were either role back win 11 to a pre 22h2 version or use a win 10 machine. I don't know if that is of any help to you. Maybe contact the support directly?
Since I'm a trainer at Microsoft and I need to train RPs about the new features of Windows 11 update, unfortunately, this is not an option for me either. Thanks for the tip, I will escalate the issue directly to the support team.
Sabrina, thank you so much for sharing this solution and the associated font fix file. It did indeed solve the problem. My panicked heart rate is now returning to normal. ;-)
I'm happy to share that today we released Storyline 360 (Build 3.68.28887.0), which includes the fix for the bug where Segoe UI fonts could cause Storyline 360 to crash when previewing or publishing a project.

It's happening to me since the last two days after I installed the SL and a Windows 11 update.

I updated windows and also updated SL within the last 24 hours and SL just crashes when previewing or publishing.
Also note, today's update which notes fixes to SL crashing did not resolve my issue, unfortunately.

I have the same problem, Storyline just closing itself without any error message when I'm trying to publish something.
Hello, after updating to W11 to 22h2 I am not able to publish the projects. Thing is that when it starts to *Write into the Player* it crashes.

This worked for me too - Not an ideal solution but it worked!
Unfortunately, Segoe is our brand font, and I am unable to change it, so my issue is still not fixed, and I am unable to preview or publish.

Here is a fix that worked for me. We pulled out the Segoe UI font on Windows 10 and reinstalled on Windows 11, See attached font Zip file.
