I have run into an issue where I can no longer open my saved storyline file. I have read other posts on this forum and checked the preferences. I am seeing that this file is somehow saved as a .STO file instead of .story. Is there any way to open this .STO file or have I lost all my content?
Hoi, I suspect the filename and/or file/folder path has exceeded the maximum number of characters allowable by the operating system you're using. Try renaming the file with the .story extension but also delete 5-10 characters elsewhere in the filename.

Have you tried simply renaming the file back to add the .story extension? That might take care of it.
