Storyline Glossary Definitions Not Showing

Hi.

I've created a glossary in Storyline. When in the player on the glossary entry panel, I can see my terms and definitions.

However, in the drop-down menu, I only see the terms. The definitions are not show up -- that's while I'm in the Player panel and in preview and publish.

Any ideas what's going on?

Hi Linda,

This is how the glossary should display, but it seems as though you are able to see the definitions in the definitions section, is that right? I'm curious if it's just an "erratic" behavior issue? Can you post a screenshot so that we can see what you see when you preview?

hmmm...now that's strange. Just so that we understand, in the player editor, the definitions do show up properly? Aside from that, I think you need a super hero's help .

Are you able to post the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look at what's going on with the Glossary.

Unfortunately, I can't post the Story file because it is proprietary to the client.

Here is a screen capture of what I see on the player entries. The content is there. The definitions just aren't showing in the drop-down.

Hi Linda,

In Player, take a look at Colors & Effects. In particular, take a look at Editor>html_text. If that is set to white, your definitions are appearing, they're just appearing in white text over a white background so you can't see them. Change the color of Editor>html_text to the same color you're using for Glossary>text.
