Storyline interaction templates

Mar 24, 2013

Hi all,

Just bought storyline, finally have a client that wants to use it (YAY

Looking to save some time by using any templates you may already have built.  I know in most cases I could build them nearly as quickly, but I still think it may save time, especially with the show hide layer stuff already done.

I need:

  • Something similar to the guided image engage interaction
  • A multiple response interaction in which learners  can zoom or click to see an image in a larger format and/or text for each response item. Then they can select the responses they think are correct and receive feedback, or even better, receive feedback for each one they select and then summary feedback once they select all the correct ones.
  • Same as above but multiple choice
  • A non scored text entry interaction, with multiple text fields, each validated against correct answers, with summary feedback

Would really appreciate anything you might have. Can anyone direct me to templates similar to these please?

cheers

Dave

Hi David,

I took a couple passes at the guided image interaction.

There were a couple of considerations for how to animate the arrows. I created 3 versions for you so you can take a look at each to see which versions work best for you.

Regarding the other templates, can you mock up something so we can get a better idea of what you're looking for? We likely have something already built that we can share.

Thanks David Probably the key one I need now and really have no clue how to do is:

A non scored text entry interaction, with multiple text fields, each validated against correct answers, with summary feedback.

So I basically need to muck up filling out a form, with several text entry fields on one screen. It doesn't need scoring, but the text being entered does need validating. I can see how to do it with one field that validates, but not with multiple fiends that validate.

Does that make sense?
