Storyline issues with video/audio

Nov 20, 2012

I'm hoping someone can help-- I have a user who is having issues viewing video and hearing audio narration.

When I access the content remotely from Articulate Online, I can't replicate these issues.

I have sent her the system requirements but is there possibly someone who can sanity check this from the Articulate end?

Good morning Bud,

If it's only happening for a single user, it may very well be how they're viewing it (the version of the browser they're using, Flash, etc). I'd be happy to take a look, if you can share a link to the course. Or, if you would like to have the tech team take a look at the files, please submit a support case with your .story file.

Thanks!

Bud Keegan

Thanks Christine-- if you could pm me with your email address, I can set up access (I can't make link public)-- or, since you are staff, we host on Articulate Online and that link is here, so presumably you can have a look?:

Barring all that, I can send the .story file-- tks!

Hi Bud

I'm able to access the account information, but not the content. So, I could check your status, but I can't log in to view the content you have without the log in information. Keep in mind, however, that all I could do is launch the content and see if it runs on my system (and my vast collection of web browsers :)). You're more than welcome to send me a PM with the information, though, if you'd just like me to take a look.

In regards to the user that's having this issue, were you able to get information back from them about their system? It would be helpful to know what browser, operating system and version of Flash they're using to view the content. Also, can you ask them what happens when they try to view the videos or listen to the audio? The more information we have, the better!

Thanks again, Bud!
