Storyline side with Graph and Closed Captioning

Apr 22, 2024

Hi all,

I am reaching out because I have a technical issue that I am trying to resolve. I would like to create a couple of things in Storyline and include CC. I have successful done this with one graph however, the issue I am having is that this new content is in the middle of the lesson in one of my modules -  when I click to review that module the content for this new storyline file begins running well before the reader gets to that part of the lesson. I am not sure how to resolve this issue but I am hoping that someone here can provide me with step by step instructions :)

Also, I would like to see if there is a way to make the graph that is being described in this section larger. I would also like to add a pause button.  Attached you will see a picture of the Storyline file in question - I would like to make this bigger on the page.

I appreciate your guidance thanks in advance!

Hi Cris,

Thanks for reaching out!

From what I understand, you currently have a Storyline block that you are incorporating into your Rise 360 course, and the Storyline block is autoplaying for the reader. Is that correct?

  • If so, it is expected on desktops and laptops for Storyline blocks to play automatically by design.

To learn more about this, here's a great article on preventing Storyline blocks from playing automatically, including how to pause it.

To answer your second question, I suggest using a widescreen aspect ratio for your slides, such as 16:9. You can also change the width of a Storyline Block from the options Small, Medium, or Full Width
