Hi All - I am trying to import the Word doc that our translators provided into my Storyline 2 file, and during the import, Storyline gives me the "invalid Word format" error. The file name looks good (no symbols, etc). I've included a screen cap of my file structure in case I have path issues. (Importing the POR word doc into the POR Storyline file.) Any ideas? I appreciate your time in helping me!
From your image - are those Dropbox files hosted on a Mac? If so, two thoughts:
First, confirm that when working on a Mac that you're working solely in the Windows environment and have followed the other guidelines here.
Second, I know lots of users utilize Dropbox as a back up method, but it can still have syncing issues, so I would look at downloading the .story file and the .doc file ot your local drive, and then try to follow the import. Here is more informationabout working locally, file names and paths, as not adhering to those guidelines can cause odd behavior in your files.
