I have a Stoyline powerpoint with three .flv videos. One displays correctly while the other two are just blank screens. I've tried reloading the videos and made sure the videos display at the beginning of the timeline.
All three videos work correctly outside of Storyline. Any clues as to what the problem could be?
Unfortunately, I'm not able to since the videos are proprietary. However, I've noticed that some of the .flv files are converted to .mp4 files while others are not.
Currently our server is configured for FLV MIME type. It will be awhile until I get MP4 MIME type configured on our server.
I think this explains why some .flv videos display while others do not.
Is there anyway I can prevent Storyline from encoding .flv files to .mp4 files?
I've been using Studio'09 for awhile now and I notice there is no conversion of .flv files to .mp4.
Thanks for the additional info, Julie. That makes sense, regarding the MIME types. It sounds like your FLV videos may have no alpha channel, and thus are being converted to MP4. Take a look.

Hi Julia,
Would you mind sending us your .story file, including the videos, so we can take a closer look at what's going on? Thanks!
