Tempshare Problems

I'm having difficulty also.  I have tried uploading two different .zip files.  The large file at 60 MB locks on publishing 99%.  The smaller file at 22 MB goes to 100% but does not return a URL.  I've tried several computers and browsers - all with cleared caches.

Do you have Flash enabled in those browsers as well? Tempshare won't work with HTML5 only content from Storyline or Studio, so you may want to make sure of the browser settings as well. I uploaded a couple things to Tempshare yesterday using Chrome without a problem. Also, you'll want to use the content from the Web publish vs. any of the other options.

Thanks for your prompt response.  The Chrome, IE, Mozilla, Safari all run fine from my LMS.  My main problem is getting Tempshare to return a URL for me to send to potential clients.  Edge doesn't work very well with my Studio 13 so I'm upgrading to 360 in the next day or two.

Are you trying to upload your LMS published versions to Tempshare? That could be the clue - you'll want to use the Web published version.

Once you upgrade to Articulate 360 - you'll also have access to Articulate Review, so using tempshare may be a moot point!

The files I'm having problems with are published for Web, and I have tried both with HTML5 enabled and without. I won't be able to upgrade to 360 until April, but in the meantime I still have a bunch of projects that need to be reviewed. Any ideas?

Julia,  Can you provide me with one of your Storyline 2 master files? I also have Storyline 2 and would be happy to test it from my end. I'm in the office for the next 15-20 minutes; otherwise, it would be tomorrow.

Constant problems.  Hangs at 99%.  Forced to use scormcloud or amazon s3.

I used Tempshare just yesterday and didn't run into any issues. I'd be happy to test out your course if you'd like to share it here?

Also, keep in mind that if you're using Articulate 360 content, Tempshare won't work with HTML5 only courses (so you'll need to include Flash, even as a fallback). 

If you're using HTML5 and Flash, and still seeing issues let me know what browser too and I can take a look! 

I am using Storyline 2 and selecting Include HTML5 output. I have tried with both IE and Chrome.  How can I share with you?

No whatever problems we were having eventually corrected themselves later that day/night. We are assuming it was just a system glitch that happens from time to time.

I am having issues with  tempshare....everytime I drag a zip file across it doesn't upload it downloads to my computer again? It is doing this with both Articularte 3 and 2 zip files

This worked well for me up until now (as recently as 10 days ago)

Any ideas?

Hi, Jennifer. Really sorry you're running into an issue with uploading to Tempshare – let's get that sorted for you!

I was able to upload Storyline 2 and 3 Web output files during my testing. To dig deeper, would you be able to share your .story file so I can take a closer look? You can add it as a comment by clicking on Add Attachment below, or you can share it privately with me here. I'll be standing by!

We're good. Whatever problem there was has been corrected; most likely just a system blip.

Has anyone else reported issues with tempshare? I've been having problems all week. At first files wouldn't play once they were uploaded - then that seemed to be fixed, now I can't seem to upload anything and get error messages when it gets to publishing stage.  I've tried uploading for both LMS and the web and neither is working.

Also tried Scorm cloud which doesn't show the module as clearly as tempshare, and Articulate 360 - same issue as Scorm.

I haven't had any issues recently. Would you be able to share the .story file that you're having difficulty with?

Also, what do you mean that the module isn't shown 'as clearly'? Can you point me to some problematic slides to take a look at?

Hello! I am currently having the same problems as a few others in this thread. I published a 'web' file, uploaded it to tempshare but I keep getting to 'publishing 99%' and then it freezes and won't produce the HTML link. I tried doing this in IE and Chrome but no luck with either. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
