Text boxes

Hi all
I'm completely new to Storyline (I'm on storyline 3) so apologies, this will be an embarrassingly simple question but I can't seem to find the answer. Do screen readers read out the text inside text boxes or do I need to provide that info as alt text? Is it the same situation, for example if I put some text inside a callout? (or a different shape?) and is there any way to turn that off, so it doesn't compete with an audio track?
Thank you! It feels like such a simple thing that I'm struggling with. I installed NVDA to try to figure it out but that programme just completely baffled me even more :-(
Thanks everyone

Hi Anne, the Alt text field inherits the text within a Text Box, Text Shape and Buttons etc. You do not need to define it, unless you need the screen reader to read different text, then you can override the Alt text field.
Ah brill thank you Sam!
