Hello! Is there a setting that will cause a trigger to fire on a text entry field without the user having to click outside the text entry field or press the enter key on their keyboard?
Example: The user needs to enter the name "Miller" in a text entry field. Instead of having to press the enter key to trigger the action, as soon as the user completes typing the word "Miller," I want the trigger action to occur (jump to a new slide, show layer, whatever.)
Hi Tanya, if you don't trigger it by click outside the text entry field or press the enter key, how will the system know if a user is done the typing? In cases where there is only a correct word to type, then you can use a trigger.
Thanks, Joanne! There is only one correct answer for this trigger. But even with the correct answer typed, the user has to click outside the entry box or press enter on their keyboard for the trigger to fire.

Phil's idea is much better than mine.
YOU can do it, relatively straight forward

Thanks, Phil! Your solution works perfectly.
