I am trying to add a text entry field on Storyline 2. How do I create a trigger where if they participant plugs in the correct data they can move on to the next slide and if it is wrong they cannot move forward?
I am using text entry on the slide. I want to make it where the user enters a specific word and it will allow them to move on, but if they enter the wrong wording they cannot.
I'm not able to attach the slide because the information on the slide is confidential.

unfortunately the slide will only move on if the text entry is correct once the focus is moved from the text entry box i.e. the user clicks a button or somewhere on the slide outside of the TE box.

are you using the Graded Fill in the Blank slide, the Freeform Text Entry slide or a text entry field on a slide?
Perhaps you can share the slide and the correct data and someone can try and help you with a solution.
