After publishing the course, the buttons "previous" and "next" are not signed. Above the course should also be a link to the content of the course, but it is not visible but you can click it. When you preview the course, everything is displayed correctly. What could be the problem?
Thank you very much. The course was made in Storyline 2 and was published for LMS. Then it was imported to Webtutor. WebTutor - e-Learning, personnel development, and humal capital management system (combined LMS/HRM/HCM system).
I just figured out what the problem is. I changed the language in the player to English and everything is displayed correctly. The problem with the Russian language, and I still do not know how to solve it technically.
Thanks, Daria. Since I wasn't able to reproduce the problem in my own sample file, I'd like to take a closer look at your file. Would you mind sharing it with me?
You can click here and attach it to a new thread comment. Thanks!
I published your file for LMS and hosted it on SCORM Cloud here. When I tested that link in Google Chrome, the Previous and Next buttons looked correct.
Thanks, Daria! It sounds like Flash is disabled in you Internet Explorer browser, and the content is defaulting to the HTML5 output. Internet Explorer is not supported for HTML5, and that's why you're seeing a problem with the navigation buttons there.
From here, you'll want to ensure that Flash is enabled in Internet Explorer. You can also use Chrome, since that is the only browser supported for HTML5 output.
Our company uses the Internet Explorer browser by default. Many processes are performed with this browser, so we need to configure the Internet Explorer browser to work with e-learning. Flash is enabled for Internet Explorer and we see english language in IE. So The question is if IE does not support these technologies, then how are the English text labels displayed correctly?
Thanks, Daria. I'm going to consult with my team to determine what could be causing this issue on your end.
In the meantime, can you please send me a fullscreen screenshot of the slide and Storyline player when you view this link in Internet Explorer? The more area of your screen you can capture, the better.
I have made two screenshots of the slide. One of them is when I view it by your link, another one is a slide after publishing here in office. This is the same slide.
I published my course as LMS. Then imported it to WebTutor. I assigned the course to myself for viewing through the training portal. And that's what happens:
The buttons look correct when I use English language in course. The buttons look incorrect when I use Russian language in course.
Since you can see the correct buttons in SCORM Cloud but not in WebTutor, we can conclude that this problem is related to your LMS.
From here, I would reach out to WebTutor support to let them know that the buttons looked correct when you tested in SCORM Cloud. They'll know best how to troubleshoot LMS-specific issues.

Hi Daria,
Can you see all of the Russian text labels correctly when you view this link in Google Chrome?
This is what you should see:

While previewing my course I also see all of the Russian text labels correctly, but after publishing to LMS, the buttons are not signed.

Would you mind testing this link and letting me know if the buttons look correct for you, as well?
Hi Alyssa,
I tested your link, I see buttons correctly in Google Chrome.
And I don't see buttons in Internet Explorer.

Hi Daria!
When I test the content in Internet Explorer 11, the previous and next buttons appear correctly. Here's a screen recording of what I see.
Could you check two things for me?
Hi Alyssa!
1. Version 11.0.9600.18920
2. Yes I See 'About Adobe Flash Player' .

Alyssa, thank you very much!
I'll send you a screenshot on Monday when I'll be at office.

Thanks, Daria! From those screenshots, I can see...
Can you please tell me where the published output is hosted when you took this screenshot below? Are you viewing it locally?
