'The content list could not be loaded' error when publishing

Jun 02, 2014

When publishing a Japanese language course to Articulate Online from Storyline, I got this error:

I had gotten it once before, possibly when publishing the same course.  Can someone please help me?  The title of the course I loaded to cause the error is:

PCM 5 顧客管理理念 - 05 顧客のニーズを明らかにする

I've successfully published many other courses, both in English language and in Japanese, Russian and Chinese.  Now, because of this error, I no longer have access to my content list.

Thanks,

Hi Marcia,

I've seen this one before, and it was due to uploading a corrupted file. So,.some first things to check:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Next, I'd review these articles on potential issues with Articulate Online:

If you've checked the above we'd like to take a look at your AO account. Could you set me up as an administrator (use the email support@articulate.com) and send the information to me through a private message here in the Heroes forum? Additionally, you could also connect with our Support team and share the information with them as well.
