I am wanting a series of different colored transparent blocks to remain after visiting the dot associated with the event on the timeline. However, when in this published mode, after visiting the layer and clicking "back" it will disappear and simply show the time frame during the year it takes place and not the transparent color as I want it shown in the preview mode.
Hi Jill. I see the behavior you're describing in the HTML5 output. The course appears to work as expected in a Flash Player-enabled browser.
I tried making some slight changes hoping for improvement. Instead of using the built-in visited state, I changed the triggers to change the states of the colors and the months to go from Hidden to Normal, but that didn't impact the HTML5 behavior.
We have documented an issue with HTML5 not keeping the saved state of objects upon revisiting, so I'm going to add your discussion to that report. I'll keep you updated with any progress on that issue.
For now, the only workaround is to view the course in a Flash-enabled browser.
