Tips for improving performance on slow web / VLE hosts?

I'm attempting to host a storyline resource (flash version) on  VLE which is providing a poor performance for web files. 

The initial screen loads a reasonably - but then all the 'scenes' which link from the front page take 30s to 2mins to load.... or fail. 

Any time for streamlining the design of resources to they load up more quickly would be great! Or a technical tip!!

Hi Peter,

Are you using a particular VLE? It may be something specific to how that loads the information - this article describes how Storyline is supposed to load. You can also test your course by loading it to somewhere such as SCORM Cloud (which is free) and see if the loading is any better there which will help you isolate the situation to your VLE.
