To embed multiple storyline output into one storyline file
Jul 01, 2014
Hi All,
Can anyone suggest how to embed multiple storyline output into one storyline file and then publishing the final one. So that others output should be open in new window.
Said Differently, I'm preparing a course in which I have three section show me, try me and content slides.
I have prepared show me and try me in different storyline file and called their output in the main storyline file with the help of Jump/Url file then publishing it. The main file output opens show me and try me in new window but content is not visible. Kindly give your suggestions/workaround to fix this issue urgently.
Thanks,
Himanshu

Why not just create scenes in a main storyline and host all slide in one file and one output linking between outputs using urls seems like a bad idea especially in new windows etc.
Hi Himanshu:
I agree with Tim:
All you need to do in select the Articulate logo button in the upper-left corner, select Import from the drop down menu, then select Storyline from the sub-menu.
Selecting Storyline will allow you to import another story into either a new scene or the current scene.
Selecting Storyline will also allow you to import story templates (for future reference).

Hi Tim, Dennis,
Thanks for your suggestion, I'd also tried this way but it's not working for me coz:
1. The try me's I've captured using screen recording is in different resolution(console - below menu bar and above task bar in the window) which makes the player of the try me's in rectangular shape
2. The shape of player in standard format is in square
3. While importing try me's storyline file, the hotspot and size of text area got misaligned due to which hotspots are not working
Then I come to this idea of embedding multiple storyline output into final one then calling them through Jump/Url File which should open in new window and allows to keep different size of players.

Himanshu
