Tool tip not working

Just recently I have noticed that the Tool tip option for the TOC menu in the player is not working in preview and/or when published.  It is checked in the settings.  It has worked in the past, but seems that newly published file in the past week are not working. (Older ones still working.) I have attached the hover/tooltip that I am not seeing now and the setting that is checked.  Any ideas why?

I was able to replicate the issue you described and chase it back a few versions of where it was working correctly. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any workarounds.

I've shared this with my team to further investigate and I've attached this conversation as well.

I wanted to share some information on how we define bugs and how we tackle them when they occur.

I wanted to follow up on this issue. This is a standard feature that was working and we based our design on this standard feature. Now it is not working which is problematic, especially since it is a standard feature. It was stated that there are not any workarounds - since this is a regular feature (an option for a check box) why would there need to be a work around rather than fixing this? Again, this is a standard feature that is supposed to be part of the application we purchased - a option built into the interface (see screen capture). It doesn't seem right to not have it working as it was a functioning part of the package when we made our decision to purchase Can you give me a status on this? Was there a recent upgrade? Do I need to reinstall? We have projects and deliverables and when items like this are left unresolved the impact trickles down to unfavorable results that impact our clients. While I understand you have a process for resolving, it doesn't seem appropriate to just have a standard feature stop function and leave your clients without a resolution.

Hi - following up on this again.  Can someone contact me directly please.  This is a feature that is supposed to be working.  We are now getting customer complaints and problems due to this not working.  This is not a special request, it is a standard feature that is not working that was also a key piece in our purchase decision.  Sure would appreciate a direct response.  Thank you.

It is currently in the early stages of review based on the How We Tackle Bugs article Leslie shared. I'll advocate on your behalf and circle back with any new developments.

Great news!  We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here

Fixed: The menu option to "show tooltip on hover" stopped working.

Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.

Hi.

Thank you for the update. Very happy to hear that the tool tip/hover is working. I had to downgrade to have it work. Now I would like to make sure I have the latest version.

When it checks for updates, it seems like I have the latest version. How can I confirm?

Hi Leslie,

I have Articulat360 and many members of my company have Articulate 360 installed/licensed.

I do not have the same menu options as you. I have attached what I see. I do not see the versions. I was able to see my version through the Help and I have version v.33.20697.0. I was told " If a new version is available from Articulate, you should see / be prompted to download the latest version of the software by Articulate and you can download it directly on your computer. "

However, I do not have the latest version and I have not been prompted to download. I currently have version 3.33.20697.0 instead of 3.42.22691.0.

How can I get my Storyline updated.
