When I import the translated material back into Storyline some of the slides do not convert to the new language. They are translated on the import file but do not get inserted. Example: {bmp_6T2s6N61uGg}
What do I need to do to get all slides to be translated?
When you export text from your Storyline content to a Microsoft Word document (*.doc) for translation purposes, be sure the column header text does not get changed. Otherwise, the import process (with the translated text) will fail. Translating Storyline Content
You'll also want to ensure you didn't change any of the column headers, or else the translation import may not work as expected.
If you're still having difficulty, could you share a copy of your .story file and translation document with us? You may want to strip it down to just a few of the troublesome slides for us to take a look at.
I've had this issue in the past and one thing that seems to work is to turn off the spell check in Word. Not sure why this helps, but whenever I forget to turn off the spell check, after about 15 slides, none of the imported text will show up. All I would get are blank slides.
