Trigger a State change on a different slide?

It's been a while since I did the training on Articulate and I'm struggling to configure the following.
Header slide on a scene has 4 buttons to various lessons within that scene, there is a hidden button that will take the user "Back to Home Screen" screen once all 4 lessons are complete.
I can't figure out which trigger/variable combo to use so that after the 4th lesson is complete then the "Back to Home Screen" button will change to a normal state.
Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Steve,
I'd have to see your exact set up, but the general approach here would be to use a series of True/False variables.
Let's say you have 4 lessons.
You'd create four T/F variables (for example: lesson 1, lesson 2, lesson 3, lesson 4). And let's set their initial state to false.
At the end of each lesson, you'd have a trigger that changes that variable to true. So at the end of lesson 1, the lesson 1 variable switches to true. So on and so forth.
On the header slide you'd have a trigger that says something to the effect of, change the state of the hidden button to normal if lesson 1 variable = true and lesson 2 variable = true and lesson 3 variable = true and lesson 4 variable = true.
The nice thing about this approach is that the learner can complete the lessons in any order and the return to home button won't appear until they've completed them all.
I hope this helps!

Michael Hinze just posted an example of something similar to what Mike is describing above, here: http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/56081/300087.aspx#300087
Thanks for the replies people, I'll give it a whirl and see what happens!
