Trigger changing state of the next button to disabled is not working when using an iPad

May 11, 2023

I published eLearning into the LMS.  All the triggers functioned properly when the module was tested on a laptop or desktop web browser.  The state of the next button is designed to be disabled until the media completes before the user can advance to the next slide.  When I tested it on the iPad using the Safari browser, the state of the next button was never disabled.  The user can advance through the slides before the media is complete.   Any ideas on to how to fix this?

HI Andre,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.

I opened a support case on your behalf so we can have one of our support engineers test the issue you're experiencing using devices similar to the ones you have access to. You're case is in good hands, and someone from our team will be in touch shortly to help out!

While waiting for them, you can try testing your course in a different LMS such as SCORM Cloud to see if the behavior you're experiencing is LMS specific. If your course works in SCORM Cloud, the the issue is with your LMS, and if it doesn't, then it may have something to do with course compatibility with iPads.
