I am having an issue with triggers copying over to objects. I am using 5 rectangles on a slide. When the user clicks on each rectangle, they should be directed to a certain scene or slide. However, every time I set up a trigger for one rectangle, it is immediately copied over to the other 4 rectangles. I did not use a format painter. I even tried deleting the rectangle and starting over.
I work for a federal agency and unfortunately cannot share the file. Your help would be greatly appreciated. We are using Storyline 3.

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes Community.
It seems that you have a similar issue as Triggers duplicating. On the said thread, Walt Hamilton recommended two steps that you can try.
1. Delete the slide, and recreate it.
2. If that doesn't work, start a new story, and import one slide at a time, until you find the one that is causing the problem.
