Triggers in feedback slides
Jan 30, 2014
Is there a way to add triggers to feedback master slides? I'm creating a set of slides with glossary terms. When the user clicks a term on the base layer,a layer pops-up with the definition. I want the user to be able to hide the definition layer by clicking an X button. If I add the button to the feedback master, the user can click it but nothing happens. It works fine if I add the button manually to each layer, but of course I'd love it if there were a short cut Any ideas?

Hi David,
Are you wanting to trigger the layer from the base layer (where a question would appear) or from one of the feedback layers for correct/incorrect, etc.?
Are you able to share your .STORY file here, so we can see what you have so far?
Thanks!
You actually can't really put triggers on the feedback master slide for the 'continue' and 'try again' type buttons... well you can but they won't work. The way to get around this is on this forum:

Thanks for sharing the link James :) It could certainly assist someone that runs across this thread in the future.
