True/False Variable

Hello 

I am creating an road traffic accident reconstruction slide.  There are two cars on the slide, one that starts to move (motion path) when the timeline starts and the other is when the timeline starts but with the condition that the variable is equal to true.

I have adjusted the variable to be true when the timeline reaches 2 seconds and have added a trigger.

The variable is changing to true but the motion path is not starting.

What have I done wrong?  Can anyone help?
