Trying to create a camera simulation effect in Storyline

I am trying to create an effect similar to what you see here,

Click the Simulator link at the lower left to start it. I intend to use the drag and drop interaction with a camera with a "transparent" screen. Works ok directly on a thermal image, but I only want to display the thermal image in the camera screen, and display a visual image for everything else.

I would appreciate any ideas the community can come up with,
