I tried installing an update to Articulate Storyline (1) this morning but got 'The installed version of the application could not be determined. The set up will now terminate.'
I uninstalled Articulate so I could try installing a fresh version but I'm getting the same error message from both the full download and the zipped download.
Sorry to hear about the issues you've run across installing Storyline, and what I would suggest next is to go through the steps here to remove any lingering Storyline install files and then download the latest update of Storyline 1, update 7 here.
