unique user system for Articulate Storyline SCORM package in Moodle

Jan 30, 2017

Dear user community,

I have recently built several e-learning products with Articulate Storyline 2 and 360 for my organization, which is an Academy that educates professionals of different backgrounds.

The LMS we use is Moodle-based. My question to you is: is it possible to produce SCORM packages through Storyline, and publish them on Moodle, while attaching a Unique User Administration to the product? My fear is that individual users might use their Moodle login information to share the e-learning products with numerous individuals or other organizations, whereas I would like to limit the number of users to only those that have access to the Moodle group.

I'm grateful for any advice.

students in Moodle are not usually able to download the full SCORM package files - unless you enable the use of the Mobile App on your site which allows them to download the full zip to the mobile device and plays the SCORM on the local mobile device (They don't get presented with a link to download the file, but someone with technical knowledge could probably figure out how to do it if they really wanted to.)

If you limit the number of attempts each user can make in Moodle this would also probably prevent the likelihood of others logging in with the same account and completing the package.
