Unwanted scrollbar issue when using iFrame in Firefox

Aug 10, 2018

Hi Heroes,

I am publishing a course to HTML using Articulate 360. I'm using the new/modern player. When I upload the course to our LMS, which uses an iFrame to embed the course, a scrollbar appears to the right, along with some pointless gray space at the bottom (see screenshot below).

This is only happening in Firefox. I don't have this issue when I view the course on Chrome.

Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thank you.

I was able to return to testing this and found some interesting new results. Rather than use one of our existing courses, I built a one slide course using all default settings to rule out any issues from our template. I gave it the preset 720x405 (16:9) Story Size.

It only has a white background and black number typed onscreen. I saw the vertical scroll bar in my LMS (Saba Cloud v.U42-741) and within SCORM Cloud. I verified it on the Firefox using version 52.5 esr on my company-supplied PC, version 60.1 esr that is on a company supplied Mac, and version 63.01 on a different PC.

I also tested with the course opening in a new window on SCORM Cloud as well as opening in  frameset and saw the same results.

The course did not have a scrollbar when viewed through Chrome.

I attached a couple of screenshots from the LMS and the Story file for reference.

Hey everybody. I'm excited to let you know that we just released update 23 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.

We fixed some modern player issues, including blank space below slides that resulted in unnecessary scroll bars and sometimes dark rectangles at the bottom of content.

Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
