updaes to Storyline

Here's another couple of questions with simple answers that I'm sure are obvious, but not to me.
I hadn't opened Storyline for a few months while I was using Articulate Presenter and when I opened it the other day, I briefly saw something about a Storyline update but before I could read it, my fast fingers had already closed the window, just as I realized I should take the opportunity to update the software.
I see the latest Storyline on the website is update 2. If I download this, am I still missing whatever was accomplished in update 1?
Why, when I re-open the software, do I no longer see the message about updating?
Is there an automatic updating I can subscribe to?

Here's the download link for Update 2. And nothing to worry about if you missed Update 1. Everything is included in Update 2. Let us know if you have any trouble
You can enable the "Check for updates at startup" feature in Storyline to be notified when new updates get released.
I was just about to let you know I took care of both items and am ready to go again, when this popup appeared. Should I reinstall or is this just a default pop-up that always appears in case there's a problem?

I haven't seen that one before. I'd try running it anyway. Have you tried running Storyline yet - any issues?
I selected "this program installed correctly and it seems okay so far. If there's a problem down the line, I'll download the update again and see what happens.

Sure thing, Jon. I do vaguely remember a few other community members bumping into that and nothing ever came of it, as far as I remember.
