We are mid-stream in a project we're creating in Storyline 2, but we're waiting for our client to get back to us on a change they'd like to make. In the meantime, we have another client who needs us to upgrade to Storyline 3 for a few new settings it offers. I'm wondering if upgrading to Storyline 3 in the midst of a project will mess up the work I've done, or re-format it in any way? Or should it be a pretty seamless transition?

my 2 cents worth -
you can have both versions of SL on your machine so personally I would continue with SL2 for the first client until the project is finalised.
Once you upgrade a SL2 project to SL3 you can only edit it in SL3.
Others may have a different opinion.
