I tested it and ran into the same thing. My guess it has something to do with the font properties since it only seems to be the up arrow.
Fortunately Wingdings 3 has some arrow choices. I'd switch to a different type set rather than spend time troubleshooting that single character. If you need to use that specific arrow, you can contact the support team and they can try to figure it out.
