Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but where does SCORM 2004 cmi.learner_name come from? Does it come from the LMS when they login and click on the training or does storyline somehow read the login from the environment (sorry, I am not at all familar with flash).
cmi.learner_name is part of the SCORM specification. In other words, it comes from the LMS and not the learner's computing environment. Here's a useful conversation on retrieving the LMS User Name as a variable.
