I have seven markers that uses text and audio. I thought is was a nice way to treat the content.
However, some users (bless their little souls) click each marker before the previous one is finished and they end up with multiple audio playing at the same time.
How do I stop the audio from playing when a new marker is selected?
I would advise you to put the audio in layers. Then, you add a trigger to show the layer when the user clicks on you marker. You set all layers so that they can't play simultaneously ("Hide other slide layers").
If you put audio in the markers, you won't be able to avoid the sounds playing simultaneously without loosing your mind with triggers.
Good luck ! I can send you an example if you want.

Hi JC
is the audio in the marker or on an associated layer?

Hi JC
if you don't have the audio clips you can export them from the marker - you'll get two files, an MP3 and a WAV

Thank you so much.

Alternatively, you can add a trigger that stops the audio file when the marker is clicked away from. I've added an example from my own work.
Thanks, Joshua.
